Manchester’s Noureldin wins ‘New Investigator’ award
Marwa Noureldin has been announced as a 2022 recipient of an American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy New Investigator Award for her research proposal, “Pharmacists' Roles as Information Providers to Family Caregivers of Older Adults.”
“The purpose of this research is to get a better understanding of how pharmacists interact with family caregivers of older adults in community pharmacy settings,” Noureldin said.
The competitive award assists pharmacy faculty from both public and private institutions in the United Stated in conducting research in their discipline. It serves as a springboard for obtaining additional grant funding because it helps investigators obtain preliminary data that is required to support other grant proposals.
Noureldin is an assistant professor of pharmaceutical sciences (social and administrative sciences) at the Manchester University Fort Wayne campus.
